FOREST IN DANGER

PYSE Inc is a founding member group of the ForestinDanger alliance of community groups that formed to protect the Forest at Coonara Ave West Pennant Hills from planned development at the former IBM site.


This is a David and Goliath fight against a big development and the government. However we believe that this site is important and valuable to both the local community as well as the rest of Sydney and well worth the battle.

 

Critically endangered ecological communities of Blue Gum High Forest and Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest as well as threatened species including Powerful Owls are all at risk from this development.

Someone has to stand up for this beautiful Forest.
If not all of us, then who?
 
 

Protecting Your Suburban Environment Inc. (PYSE Inc) is a community advocacy group dedicated to protecting the character, liveability and values of Sydney's suburban environment.

We provide information and support to the community through our targeted campaigns as well as coordinating with like-minded community groups to assist with their local issues.
